Marc Ecko's All In For Tikva Event

Last night Marc Ecko and hundreds of other industry VIP's attended "All In For Tikva". This high-energy, high-profile event held at Cipriani 23rd street in New York offered the chance to win spectacular prizes all while raising money for the homeless, abandoned and abused children of Odessa, Ukraine. In 1998, the founders of Marc Ecko Enterprises (MEE), Marc Ecko, Marci Tapper, and Seth Gerszberg made a pledge: if their company was ever able overcome its $6 million debt, they would donate their first profits to a charity for children in need. By October 2000, they were ready to fulfill that promise. After being approached for help by the leadership of Tikva Children’s Home, Seth traveled to Odessa, Ukraine to assess the organization. What he found at Tikva was a cause so compelling, yet so under-resourced, that the partners agreed to open a fundraising office in their NYC showroom. All three partners, plus MEE executives Effy Zinkin and Dick Thrush, serve on the Tikva Board of Trustees and continue to visit the Home regularly. Since MEE first became involved, the number of children provided a loving home at Tikva each year has more than quadrupled, to over 300 in 2008. Tikva’s boys and girls are also mainstreamed with 800 other children in top quality private schools and supported through their higher education and career aspirations. Over 400 young adults have already graduated from Tikva’s programs and have relocated abroad. Another 350 have remained in Odessa to attend university, begin fulfilling careers, and work with Tikva to help other children who are still in need of rescue from extreme poverty and danger.

Pop culture mogul, Marc Ecko to co-produce physics-based puzzle game for Nintendo DS

cdv Software Entertainment USA announced I Heart Geeks!, the ultimate puzzle experience that challenges players to create sophisticated and humorous contraptions using dozens of objects and the laws of real-world physics to solve over 100 brain teasers. I Heart Geeks! is slated for a September/October 2008 release on the DS. Produced in cooperation with Marc Ecko Entertainment, the game features a tongue-in-cheek story and hip art style where the brainy geek overcomes the brawny (and bullying) jocks, winning the heart of the beautiful cheerleader. A friendly interface and helpful tutorials along with the gradual introduction of puzzles of ever-increasing difficulty and complexity, multiple solutions, and wireless support to allow players to face off against one another in timed puzzle-solving races round out the features. DC Takes Over The Standard Hotel, Downtown Los Angeles

DC, a leader in performance skateboarding shoes and renowned action sports brand will officially take over the Standard hotel, Downtown Los Angeles,
July 31st – August 3 for The Gold Standard 2008. Conceived by DC, The Gold
Standard 2008 is a hosted hotel takeover during the 2008 X Games, developed as a
tribute to DC’s X Games athletes over the past 14 years. Here, DC and Monster
Energy along with presenting sponsors FUEL TV and Complex Magazine (owned by  Marc Ecko), will occupy all 12 floors of the chic hotel in the heart of LA.

Over the course of the 3-day weekend, guests will be treated to the ultimate
VIP experience at the hotel, while the biggest action sports event in the world
happens just down the street at the STAPLES Center and Home Depot Center. During
the day, guests will have exclusive access to lounges that will be filled with
entertainment, games, gifting, amenities, and a place to recharge and relax. 
Each evening The Gold Standard 2008 will host events, where guests can enjoy
cocktails, music and hang with DC and Monster Energy professional athletes.

FUEL TV joins The Gold Standard 2008, bringing The Daily Habit, a half-hour
daily interview and variety show, on location at The Standard. For the first
time ever The Daily Habit will be filmed outside of its regular studio and
onsite at The Standard.  Each of the five episodes being filmed will include
interviews and footage with DC and Monster athletes, as well as give viewers an
insider peek of The Gold Standard 2008 experience.

The dates that these shows will air are: Monday, August 11 to Friday, August
15, 2008, airing weeknights at 9:00pm ET (6:00pm PT) while re-airing later in the
evening at 12:00am ET (9:00pm PT), and the following weekday at 2:30pm ET
(11:30am PT) and 5:30pm ET (2:30 pm PT.

Since the inception of the Summer X Games, DC sponsored riders have taken
