Pick The 22nd New York Jets Flight Crew Girl

After announcing their 2008 Flight Crew yesterday at Marc Ecko Enterprises in New York City, the Jets are offering fans the unique opportunity to participate in the selection of the final team member in an online vote at www.newyorkjets.com. During an open audition for the squad, 21 members were chosen from a pool of more than 250 applicants.  The three finalists chosen are: Danielle D., Westchester, NY, Jennifer W., Brentwood, NY and Liana, Bergen County, NJ.  Log on to www.newyorkjets.com to view slideshows and video of the finalists for the 22nd member spot before casting your vote for one of these three girls!

The 21 members of the 2008 Jets Flight Crew consist of 7 returnees and 14 rookies. Returning members are Gina, Jennifer M., Laura V., Linda, Mandisa, Meredith and Ryann.  The 2008 rookies are Bianca, Danielle B., Danielle K., Doris, Felicia, Georgina, Jennifer P., Jessica, Justine, Kazuyo, Laura D., Lauren, Michelle and Natalie. The exclusive Flight Crew uniforms designed by Marc Ecko will be unveiled when the Jets play the New England Patriots in the 2008 home opener on September 14th. Celebrity judges including Marc Ecko are Z100's Danielle Monaro, former Jets' linebacker Greg Buttle, Derek Tobacco, a New York Jets fan charity auction winner and IMG fashion producer Christina Neault.

Winners Of The Zoo York Deck Design Contest

From March 15th through May 1st, Zoo York ran a deck design contest that was hosted by Macy’s stores in California. The response was excellent, and when it was all said and done the Zoo Crew selected three graphics deemed the strongest. The first and second place finishers will each receive 12 custom Zoo decks featuring their design, and the third place finisher will receive a healthy box of Zoo gear. Pretty Fly - Marc Ecko Designs the 2008 New York Jets Flight Crew Cheerleader Uniforms

The New York Jets and Marc Ecko Enterprises have announced a unique partnership in which Marc Ecko will design the 2008 New York Jets Flight Crew [cheerleader] uniforms, and will personally direct other aspects of styling from hair and make-up to photography. The announcement was made by Jessica Lederman. "We are thrilled to have Marc on board to take the look and feel of our newly expanded Flight Crew to another level," said Jets President Jay Cross. "Ecko is not only an area native but a world-class designer who we know will create a very unique and cutting-edge uniform design for the crew.""When the Jets approached me to design the flight crew uniforms, I knew within a few minutes what I wanted to do," said Ecko. "We are excited to partner with one of my home town teams to bring a new and fresh look to the squad." Auditions for the 2008 New York Jets Flight Crew begin May 17 and the deadline to apply has been extended to Tuesday, May 13. The application fee for tryouts is $25. Marc Ecko will serve as one of several celebrity guest judges for the final day of auditions. The first round of auditions will be held at the Jets Practice Facility on the campus of Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. Marc Ecko Enterprises headquarters, in New York City, will be the site of the final auditions on Sunday, June 1. At the conclusion of the audition process, 21 team members will be selected for the 2008 squad and the 22nd and final member of the Flight Crew will be voted in by Jets fans at www.newyorkjets.com.
