Attention Star Wars Fans: Vader Project Helmets Go On The Auction Block July 10th!

What goes around, comes around. At least that's true for the Vader Project. Back in 2009, The Vader Project was set up by Dov Kelemer and Sarah Jo Marks of DKE toys. One-hundred of today’s hottest underground and pop painters, artists and designers were given a full scale Star Wars Darth Vader helmet to customize as they wished. Some of the stellar contestants are:  Marc Ecko,  Peter Kuper, Attaboy, Gary Baseman, Tim Biskup, Dalek, Paul Frank, Ron English, Jeff Soto, Michelle Valigura, Frank Kozik, Wade Lageose, Joe Ledbetter, Alex Pardee, Suckadelic, Cameron Tiede, Shag, Mister Cartoon, Amanda Visell and many more.

The tour made its way around the world and is now coming to an exciting finale. The helmets will be auctioned off on July 10th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Freeman’s Auctioneers and Appraisers. The Freeman's Auction takes place July 10, 2010 preceded by a 5-day exhibition there July 5-9.
